How fun it is to be given a clean slate and a chance to redo a room and make it beautiful! When envisioning a space, I always begin by asking, “What does this room need?” This upstairs bedroom, with its low ceilings and single dormer window, called for pattern and light. A playful Palm Beach-inspired design felt just right for a young adult daughter preparing to head off to college. Cheerful shades of coral, blue, and turquoise infuse the room with energy and joy, while a white Chippendale-style mirror positioned opposite the window reflects sunlight, further brightening the space.

A hanging chair adds a touch of whimsy and provides a fun spot to relax, while the white dresser offers storage and the opportunity for a pair of bold lamps.

My favorite part of this project was connecting the bedroom with the adjoining hall bath to create a cohesive upstairs guest suite. The blue and white wallpaper and coral lamp echo the colors of the bedroom, tying the two spaces together in a fresh, inviting way, creating a vibrant retreat that feels happy and welcoming every time you walk in.
